The Bulgarian abbreviation for Ltd – “EOOD”, means: “Sole Limited Liability Company.” OOD and EOOD are one and the same thing except that OOD consists of at least two partners and EOOD only one. It is also a company, though it consists of one person.
How to start a business in Bulgaria easily and get EU citizenship?

How to start a business in Bulgaria and get a residence permit?

Persons residing in the country for more than 5 years (the condition is the presence in Bulgaria for at least 183 days during the year) are entitled to permanent residence or long term resident.

- Passport and two copies from the pages of photos, as well as available visas.

- Photos, good quality, made in color (3.5 × 4.5 cm).

How to register a company?
Having successfully passed the first test, received a residence permit, you acquire the right to start your own business here. The company must be registered in a certain sequence:
- Registration documents certified by the owners and managers are filled out.
- A unique company name is negotiated.
- Documents are submitted for registration after payment of the state duty.
- A company registered in the commercial register has the right to open its current account.
- To maintain documentation, you need to make a seal.
Documents for registering EOOD (Ltd.)
To register an individual company owned by 1 person, you will need:
- Application for the creation of EOOD, drawn up in A4 format;
- Act of the establishment of the company;
- Decision on the organization of EOOD;
- Legally valid consent of the boss and a sample of his signature;
- A receipt confirming the payment of state duty;
- A receipt from the director regarding the truth of the documents submitted for registration;
- Document on depositing the authorized capital to the bank account (at least 2 leva);
- In the case of the establishment of the company through a proxy, a power of attorney addressed to him.
Documents for registering OOD
In order to register a limited-liability company established by two or more individuals or legal entities on the basis of certain shares contributed to the authorized capital, another list of documents should be submitted. Here is the list:
- Application (A4);
- Founding or OS protocol;
- Assurances of the head of the new company about the impossibility of other areas of his business without notifying EOOD;
- Legally correct consent of the manager with a sample of his signature;
- The contract of organization of the company;
- Agreement on the trust of founders of the management functions to the director of the company;
- A receipt confirming the payment of state duty;
- The receipt of the director in the truth of the documents submitted for registration;
- Document on depositing the authorized capital to the bank account (at least 2 leva);
- In the case of the establishment of the company through a proxy, a power of attorney addressed to him.
